Jimmy's main side project is his rock band, Lions May Cry which is a three piece power trio that consists of his sister, Laura Wooten on bass and long time friend Cody Lowery on drums. Lions May Cry formed in 2009 and they are based out of Shreveport, La. LMC has released 2 full length studio albums, a live DVD, a Christmas EP and several music videos. they have opened for national acts like : Candlebox, Tantric, Nothing More, Charm City Devils, Fastball and many more! Their sound is edgy and modern with influences of progressive rock. You'll hear vocal melodys and lyrics you'll wanna sing along with, complex guitar played from the heart, drums played with passion and force, and a wall of bass guitar .
